  • I highly recommend YouGuang Chinese School and Summer Camp! The teachers are incredibly engaged, caring, and knowledgeable about teaching children Mandarin. They make learning fun by incorporating songs, dances, and interactive activities that help the kids naturally develop both their spoken Mandarin and character recognition.

What I especially appreciate is that all of the teachers are native Mandarin speakers who also place a strong emphasis on building confidence through public speaking and stage performances as part of the curriculum. It’s been a wonderful learning experience, and we’ve seen our 5 year old enjoy every moment.

We will definitely be back for future classes and highly recommend YouGuang to any family looking for a fun, engaging, and high-quality Mandarin program!

  • My daughter has been attending Youguang for two years and truly enjoys every class. She does not speak Mandarin at home and was not very interested in Chinese school before, but the friendly and encouraging teachers at Youguang have made learning fun and engaging.

The classes include not only language learning, but also Chinese culture and fun activities. Her Chinese has improved significantly, and she also loved the summer camp so much that she wants to attend for the entire summer next year. We were very surprised to hear that. Highly recommended!

  • Youguang Chinese School is a school I am very satisfied with and genuinely recommend.

Both of my children have been studying here. Their Chinese has improved quickly, and they have also participated in hosting and drama programs. What they have gained goes far beyond language learning. The school regularly organizes a wide range of activities that help children build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and develop teamwork in a relaxed and enjoyable environment.

The teachers are professional, dedicated, experienced, patient, and responsible. I especially want to thank Ms. Yang Guang, who is not only an excellent teacher but also an educator with genuine passion for education. Principal Gao is equally admirable. He consistently focuses on teaching quality and children’s growth, which is truly valuable.

If you are looking for a Chinese school that genuinely cares about education and children’s overall development, I sincerely recommend Youguang Chinese School.

  • Both of my daughters attended the drama program at Youguang Chinese School, and it has been one of the most rewarding learning experiences they have had.

Under Mr. Gao’s professional and passionate guidance, they not only discovered the joy of drama but also developed a much deeper appreciation for the Chinese language and the master work in English literature. Watching them perform Hamlet on stage was a truly unforgettable moment. I was amazed by their confidence, their understanding of the characters, and their expressive performances. I was especially touched by one of my daughter’s singing—it revealed a level of confidence and artistic growth that I had never seen before.

As an educator myself, I have great respect for Mr. Gao and his team. Their commitment goes far beyond teaching language skills. They cultivate confidence, creativity, teamwork, and a genuine love for language, culture and stage performance.

I wholeheartedly recommend Youguang Chinese School to any family looking for a high-quality Chinese program.
